Classification
Exploratory: Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)-Pediatric (ages 1 to 5).
Short Description of Instrument
This questionnaire assesses the issues of initiating and maintaining sleep for children between the ages of 1 and 5.

This is a revised subscale of the Sleep Disturbance Scale for Children (Bruni et al, 1996).
Scoring
Parent-reported questionnaire.
Rationale/Justification
Strengths/Weaknesses: There is some evidence supporting the psychometric properties of the Tayside Children's Sleep Questionnaire to assess disorders of initiating and maintaining sleep. More evidence supporting the psychometric properties in pediatric SCI is warranted.
