Short Description of Instrument
A single self-administered question that can be answered with a 'yes' or 'no' response: "Have you ever been told, or suspected yourself that you seem to 'act out your dreams' while asleep (for example, punching, flailing your arms in the air, making running movements, etc.)?"
Comments/Special Instructions
RBD1Q may be considered a good screening tool in clinical settings and large-scale epidemiological studies.
Scoring and Psychometric Properties
Psychometric Properties: RBD1Q was shown to have good sensitivity (94%) and specificity (87%) in diagnosing RBD.

    • Low positive predictive value in the general elderly population
